Quick weight loss is something that nearly every dieter is looking to achieve. Although losing weight is not something that happens overnight, there are some things you can do to help get results. Here are some helpful weight loss tips that will give you positive results in a short amount of time.
Chew Gum
As strange as it may first seem, chewing gum for 15 minutes or more in between meals, especially lunch, can reduce calorie intake 36%. That quickly adds up if done daily.
Green Tea
Studies have shown that a couple of cups of green tea can be helpful in losing weight. It aids in losing body fats and recommended by many fitness experts.
Smaller Plates
This quick weight loss tip is widely known, but seldom used it seems. Substitute your larger dinner plate with a smaller salad plate. Not only will it help in reducing portion sizes, but it will reduce your calorie intake upwards of 30%.
Eat Slower
Another common tip is to slow down and take your time when eating a meal. It allows your stomach the time to signal your brain that it is full. Hence, you won't eat as much. This tip is explained in great detail in Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
Eat More Fruit
Satisfy those hunger cravings and afternoon snacks with a piece of fruit instead of a candy bar. You'll lose weight and it is also much healthier.
Lower Your Stress
It's a well known fact that excess stress can lead to weight gain. It's a major factor to be sure. Take the steps to reduce your stress levels by doing some simple activities like going for a walk, playing with your dog, and even taking a nice long bath. You'll be very pleased with the results.

That is true about chewing gum. It really does help. Also brushing you teeth does too. If you are in a place that you can.
Most people I talk to are somewhat surprised by that, but sometimes it's the little things that can make big differences.
